Calve Ranch Bonsmara

Calve Ranch started in the year of 2014 breeding with Bonsmara’s. The farm is situated is in the Central Kalahari Sandveldt, with the closest town being Letlhakane.

Calve Ranch chose the Bonsmara breed for its adaptability, hardiness, fertility and tameness.

During the years we noticed that the Calve Ranch Bonsmara’s adapted extremely well to the hardy conditions of the Kalahari Sandveldt with all its challenges.

Calve Ranch is focussing on breeding top quality Bonsmara’s that are hardy, fertile, can wean and produce a good muscular weaner calf. We also breed cows that have good calving abilities and keeping a good condition while rearing a calf as well as good mothering abilities.
